We are staying at the bottom of Mount Greylock while we do some slackpacking to complete the AT in Massachusetts. Highgear and Farsight are saying hello to the neighbors.

On April 21, 2010, after more than twenty years of dreaming, reading, planning, hoping, delaying, and anticipating, I started hiking the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. 2,200 miles. Five million steps. Tradition demands that you assume a trail name while part of the thruhiker community. Mine will be OldSchool.
